SCHOOL HISTORY
The School of Liberal Arts and Education (LAED) of St. Jude College is a proactive and performing institute of the Thaddean Community. It aims for developing global and analytic professionals with a solemn pledge to personal and social transformation through humanistic and Liberal Education.
LAED is composed of two department units; Liberal Arts and Education. Each department complements the other in helping St. Jude College reach its vision of becoming a dynamic and principled educational institution committed to developing global professionals.
LIBERAL ARTS
The Liberal Arts Department of St. Jude College is an academic unit of exceptional quality and productivity. It has a reputation of developing students to a position of excellence through quality research, innovative and effective instruction and responsive service to humanity.
The Liberal Arts Department endeavors to:
Offer high standards of scholastic research and professional training that will prepare our students to become analytic and critical thinkers, proficient and accurate communicators and socio- culturally responsible members of a civil and global society
Form ethical, responsive, accurate, objective and fair-minded professionals for current and future employment worldwide
EDUCATION
The Education Department of St. Jude College offers undergraduate students a preparation for their teaching career. It is designed to produce excellent educators and holistic human development.
