Please Bring:
Personal items (toilet articles, underwear, slippers, robe); books and magazines, light hobbies, clothing for your discharge.
You will be provided hospital gowns. You may bring your own pajamas/nightgowns for your own comfort. It is also requested that you bring health insurance/Medicare forms; medical records and information on past illness.
What Not to Bring:
For your safety and security, please do not bring large amounts of cash, jewelry or other valuables, plug-in appliances such as hair dryers, electric razors or irons. Electric radio cassettes, fans, TV etc. may be brought in but will be charged daily power rates.
Your Room:
You may coordinate with the Admitting Section with regards to the room of choice. Your nurse will be happy to explain the use of the various gadgets in your room. Should you need anything, please dial nurses station 2nd floor # 205, third floor 214 and 4th floor 218.
Our housekeeper will come to clean your room once a day and as requested. We ask your help in keeping the rooms clean by using the proper waste receptacles provided for the specific type of garbage. Call the nurse for anything that needs prompt repair or cleaning.
For Patients who will undergo a Medical Check-Up:
You will be a fairly “busy” person during your stay in the Center. You shall undergo various test as early as 6:00 a.m. The nurse will acquaint you with the schedule of your tests and the nurse attendants will give assistance.
For Patients who will undergo an Operation:
Your surgeon will fully explain to you the nature of the operation and will issue instructions on what tests you may have to take and other preparations. You will also be told the date and approximate time of your operation.
From the Operating Room you will be moved to the Recovery Room, (depending on the type of operation). You will be transferred to a regular room when your doctor so orders.
The Surgical areas are strictly for hospital personnel. A waiting area is provided for the family.

Admission:
Cut off time is from 12:00 noon to 12:00 noon the following day.
Visitors
1. Visiting time: Rest is very important to hospital patient. Hence, visiting hours are limited to: 10:00 - 12:00 a.m. 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.
except in the following restricted areas: ICU and Recovery Room
2. Only two (2) visitors are allowed at a time.
3. Children below 12 years old are not allowed to visit so as not to expose them to infections. Children’s companions are requested to attend properly to visiting children cautioning them against noise and unruly behavior in the hospital (If absolutely necessary have a waiver or release of responsibility signed.)
Flowers:
Flower arrangements are allowed to be brought to patients’ rooms except in the intensive care units for infection control purposes.
Watchers:
Watchers should secure a Watcher’s Pass from the Security Guard at the hospital lobby. Watchers are not allowed to bring in pillows, blankets, folding beds or sleeping bags. They may avail of extra beddings for a minimal fee from the nurses’ station.
Food
1. A Patient’s diet is prescribed by his doctor and is under the competent supervision of our dietitians.
2. Bringing of cooked food is discouraged inside patient’s room. Only fruits, biscuits, crackers, pastries, cookies and juices are allowed inside the room to prevent rodents and pests in the wards.
3. We accept requests for extra meal trays made at least two hours prior to meal times.
Medication:
Part of our role is to see to it that you receive only the correct medicines of the highest quality. Thus, for your health and safety, we do not administer medicines purchased outside the hospital pharmacy.
Unused medicines in ampules/vials may be returned for credit to the pharmacy through the nurses’ station and deducted to patient’s bill. Unused oral medicines may be taken home.
Smoking / Drinking Alcoholic Beverages:
Smoking and drinking alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited in all areas of the hospital.
Noise / Gambling:
Visitors and watchers are requested to refrain from making noise. Gambling is absolutely prohibited in the hospital.
Jewelry / Valuables:
The Center is not responsible for the loss of valuables in the hospital. Please lock your doors all times, especially at night. Deposit your valuables at the Cashier’s Office at the Ground Floor. Always ask for an official receipt.
Please take all necessary precautions and deal only with authorized hospital personnel. Report suspicious-looking persons to the nurses’ station.
Fire or Emergency:
Please familiarize yourself with the exit or fire escapes nearest your room. In case of fire or emergency, please inform the nearest nurses’ station or dial “201/223” for the Operator.

Pastoral Services:
The Center maintains a chapel at the Ground Floor of the hospital and the services of a Catholic Hospital Chaplain
The daily schedule of masses is as follows:
Monday to Friday 12:00 noon.
1st Saturday of the month 6:00 p.m.
1st Friday of the month 6:00 p.m.
Sunday 6:00 p.m.
Novena to St. Jude: Thursday 6:00 p.m.
Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help: Wednesday 12:00 noon
