Freshmen (New)

  • APPLICATION PROCEDURES

    Admission of Freshmen / New Students

    POLICIES

  • All incoming freshmen must present their complete documents and requirements to the Registrar's Office prior to the enrollment.

  • Incoming freshmen must take and pass the entrance examination administered by the Guidance Office with the exception of those who graduated from St. Jude College High School.

  • Applicants must pass the interview and evaluation administered by the Dean of the College he/she wishes to enroll in.


  • PROCEDURES

  • Applicants who graduated from other high schools shall proceed to the Cashier (Ground Floor) for payment of Entrance Examination For applicants who are high school graduates of St. Jude College, proceed to the Guidance Office for filling out of the Students Information Form and issuance of clearance for admission.

  • Present the Official Receipt to the Guidance Office.

  • Fill out the Student Information Form and take the Entrance Examination administered by the Guidance Office

  • Secure result of examination from the Guidance Office


  • NOTE:

  • For Nursing applicants, proceed to the Registrar's Office and present the examination result with the admission requirements

  • For other courses, proceed to the Dean's Office for interview and evaluation and proceed to the Registrar's Office


  • Registrar's Office validates the examination results and evaluates the admission requirements prior to issuance of Student Number

  • Applicant proceeds to the IS&T Office for assessment of tuition fees

  • Applicant proceeds to the Accounting Office for payment of tuition fees and issuance of ID

  • Applicant proceeds to the ID Section and presents COM for issuance of ID

  • Applicant proceeds to the Uniform Section (outsource) and presents COM for issuance of uniform


  • Admission of Old Students

    POLICIES

  • The student must fill out the pre-registration form two weeks before the end of the semester

  • The student presents to the enrollment adviser his / her grades from the previous semester

  • The student must not have any balance from the previous semester's tuition fees


  • PROCEDURES

  • The students fill out the pre-registration form furnished by the enrollment adviser

  • The student returns for advising and enrollment on the scheduled date of enrollment

  • The student proceeds to the enrollment adviser for assessment and evaluation of subjects

  • After the assessment, the student is given forty eight (48) hours to pay his tuition fees otherwise, the schedule of subjects found in the assessment is invalidated

  • If the student fails to pay his/her tuition fees within the forty eight (48) hour-grace period, he/she returns to the enrollment adviser for re-assessment

  • The student proceeds to the Accounting Office and pays the tuition fees

  • The Accounting Clerk issues the Certificate of Matriculation and Official Receipt to the student

  • Applicant proceeds to the ID section and presents COM for validation of ID with a St. Jude College sticker 9. Applicant proceeds to the Uniform Section (outsource) and presents COM for issuance of uniform


  • Admission of Transferees and Second Coursers

    POLICIES

  • All transferees and second courses are required to submit the Transfer Credentials and scholastics records to the Registrar's Office or screening and evaluation. Transfer Credentials include:


  • Official Transcript of Records (OTR)

  • Certificate of Grades

  • Honorable Dismissal

  • Photocopy of Birth Certificate


  • Certificates and other scholastic records with transfer eligibility duly signed and authenticated may be accepted as transfer credentials upon approval of the Registrar

  • All transferees will be interviewed by the respective College Dean

  • A transferee is officially registered only after he has completed all the requirements for the registration and has paid in full or has made arrangements with the Accounting Office to pay on installment basis the tuition fees and other fees for the semester

  • If transfer credentials are not complete are not complete, the applicant is required to fill out a Self Evaluation Form and sign a waiver of accountability for the completion of the Self Evaluation Data requirements. The student is allowed to enroll using the Self Evaluation Form as guide for the evaluation

  • The applicant is advised to complete his/her transfer credentials within one (1) month after enrollment. One (1) week after the applicant has enrolled, the Registrar's Office furnishes a written request to the respective college for the submission of the Official Transcript of Records

  • An initial follow-up will be made by the Registrar at the end of the same month. If the student fails to present his complete Transfer Credentials at the end of the semester, he/she will not be allowed to enroll for the next semester unless it is the respective colleges deficiency. In this case, proof of request for Transfer Credentials duly receive by the Registrar of the respective college must be submitted by the student to the Office of the Registrar before the student is allowed to enroll


  • Admission of Alien/Foreign Students

    POLICIES

  • The admission of Alien/Foreign Students is subject to existing regulations of the Commission on the Higher Education (CHED) and other requirements herein provided: An Alien shall be admitted for enrollment only upon presentation of a student visa (9-F Visa), which comprises the following:


  • Letter of Acceptance from the school of his/her choice upon compliance of the required documents

  • Affidavit of support including bank statement

  • Passport

  • Birth Certificate

  • Five (5) copies of personal history statement duly signed by the student, both in English, and his national language

  • Three (3) copies Official Transcript and Scholastic Records duly authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Services

  • Three (3) copies of authenticated diploma


  • Admission of Graduate Students

    POLICIES

  • The students present his Official Transcript of Records and PRC (Professional Regulation Commission) license for MHA and MAN

  • One (1) year of experience in the field of practice is preferred


  • PROCEDURES

  • Proceed to the Guidance and Counseling Center to fill out the Student Information Form (SIF)

  • Proceed to the Dean's Office, present all admission requirements and fill out the Student Enrollment Form (SEF)


  • Proceed to the IS & T Office for assessment of fees

  • Pay at the Accounting Office


  • ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES


    STEP 1 - REGISTRAR'S OFFICE

  • Registrar issues admission requirements/transfer credentials

  • Advises student to proceed to Accounting Office for payment of Entrance Examination


  • STEP 2 - ACCOUNTING OFFICE

  • Accounting clerk accepts payment and issues an Official Receipt

  • Proceed to Guidance Office and present OR for the Entrance Examination


  • STEP 3 - GUIDANCE OFFICE

  • Guidance Office Personnel documents Receipt of Payment

  • Administers the Entrance Examination

  • Entrance Examination checked and issues result to student


  • STEP 4 - REGISTRAR'S OFFICE

  • Validates result of entrance examination

  • Checks Admission Requirements / Transfer Credentials from the Student

  • Issues a Student Number

  • Advises student to proceed to his/her respective college for entry level determination


  • STEP 5 - RESPECTIVE COLLEGE

  • Validates result of examination

  • Determines entry level of student based on Transfer Credentials

  • Nursing student with an entry level of I or II - He/she is evaluated for subjects to be taken at the College of LAEd and referred to the Assessment Clerk/s at the gymnasium. (Skip Steps 6 & 7 and proceed to steps 8 & 9). If the student belongs to a college other than LAEd and Nursing, he/she proceeds to the respective college for dean's interview, evaluation and assessment

  • Nursing student with an entry level of III or IV - The student is advised to take the Qualifying Examination and proceed to the Accounting Office for payment, If the student belongs to a college other than LAEd and Nursing, he/she proceeds to the respective college for dean's interview, evaluation and assessment


  • STEP 6 - ACCOUNTING OFFICE

  • For Nursing Students

  • Accounting Clerk accepts payment for Qualifying Examination and issues a receipt

  • Student proceeds to the Guidance Office for the Qualifying Examination


  • STEP 7 - GUIDANCE OFFICE

  • For Nursing Students

  • The result of the Qualifying Examination is issued to the student in the afternoon

  • Advises student to proceed to the Multi-Purpose Hall at the 2nd Floor, CA Building for evaluation and assessment


  • STEP 8 - COLLEGE OF NURSING

  • College Secretary or Assistant Dean evaluates students


  • STEP 9 - IS&T OFFICE

  • Assessment Clerk issues Assessment Form

  • Informs student of its validity for forty-eight (48) hours or two (2) days after which re-evaluation and re-assessment has to be done

  • Advises student to proceed to the Accounting Office for payment of matriculation


  • STEP 10 - ACCOUNTING OFFICE

  • Accepts payment and issues Certificate of Matriculation


  • SCHOLARSHIP


    1. Entrance Academic Scholarship

    FULL SCHOLARSHIP

  • granted to Valedictorians of public and private secondary schools. The grantee enjoys 100% free tuition, laboratory, and miscellaneous fee for one semester.



  • PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIP

  • granted to Salutatorians of public and private secondary schools. The grantee shall enjoy 50% discount on tuition and laboratory fees but shall be required to pay the miscellaneous fees for one semester.


  • Resident Academic Scholarship

  • giveto students who maintain a general weighted average of at least 1.50 and above. They have a residency of one year or two semesters in the college, carry the regular loads prescribed in their respective curriculum, are of good moral character and have not been subjected to any disciplinary action by the college.


  • FULL SCHOLARSHIP

  • given to student who maintains a General Weighted Average (GWA) of 1.00 to 1.25 and with no grade below 1.50. The grantee is given 100% free tuition, laboratory and miscellaneous fees for one semester.


  • PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIP

  • given to a student who maintains a General Weighted Average (GWA) of 1.26 to 1.50 and with no grade lower than 1.75. The grantee shaenjoy 50% discount on tuition and laboratory fees but shall be required to pay the miscellaneous fees for one semester.


  • Artistic Scholarship

  • given to students who garner the FINAL FOUR or top four places in THADDEAN STRUCK Star Campus Quest, the annual search for Thaddean campus talents as Mr. and Ms. St. Jude Personality.

  • Thaddean King and Queen given to the male and female questors with the highest accumulated pageant scores and declared as Grand Questors. They garner 100% discount on tuition fee for one year or two semester but are required to pay thmiscellaneous fees, laboratory fees and other fees.

  • Thaddean Prince and Princess given to the male and fema first runner-up of the Thaddean Struck Grand Questors. They garner 50% discount on tuition fees for one year or two semester but are required to pay the miscellaneous fees, laboratory fees and other fees.


  • Athletic Scholarship

  • given to students who are athletes/varsity players of basketball, volleyball, table tennis and badmintoamong others and cheer dance/ pep squad members. They should meet satisfactorily the selection criteria and academic requirement Various tuition fee and other discount are granted

    Leadership Scholarship

  • given to a students who has shown exemplary leadership as an officer or outstanding performances a member of a student organization. Special tuition fee discounts are given upon endorsement by the students organization adviser and approval of the Academic Dean and COO/CEO. This includes 10% tuition fee discount for the editor-in chief, associate editor and contributing editors of the THADDEAN HERALD, the official student publication St. Jude College.


  • Services Scholarship

  • given to students who has shown exemplary performance as a member of the college Student Catholic Choir. Special tuition fee discounts are given upon endorsement by the Music Ministry President and approved of the Academic Dean COO/CEO


  • Dr. Ramon D. Atienza Jr. (DRADA) Foundation Scholarship

  • given to the designated scholar/s of the College President/Chief Executive Officer. The grantee receives tuition fee and miscellaneous fee discounts


  • Student Assistantship

  • offered to poor but deserving students with a General Weighted Average of 2.50 and above. Recipients assist in various departments and college offices. The grantee receives 100% tuition fee discounts upon screening and interview and submission of requirements which include his/her barangay certificate of being an indigent and Income Tax Return (ITR) of parents.
